The Simplify Media program works with with both iTunes and Winamp. Using a system you can listen to your favorite music at home, at work, or school. Actually, anywhere you have access to the Internet. You potentially can listen to your own music library, as well as your friends.

With this setup you can listen to your favorite ipod music using Simplify Media. With this program, any or all of your favorite home music is available at school or at the job. Not only that but you can tap into your friends music library and find out what they’re listening to.

This music application works for iPods. It has a growing number of followers. In the first install the software you need to synchronize your playlist with iTunes or with Winamp. Although you can change that at the anytime.

Once installed on your player you’ll see the simplify media option listed in your navigation on the left hand side. Once you open this up, you can see both your entire music library and any tunes that your friends have chosen to share. At this time, you can choose to add more friends to your account. As long as they’ve already signed up.

This program is a very useful, an elegant way to access your own music collection from anywhere, as well as sharing that of your friends. With luck, future versions will adapt to solve the other jukebox players as well as being a bit more stable.

The original iTunes has features that some people don’t remember are even there. Poor example there’s a web radio, a music visualizer, and shared music libraries. People using multiple computers on the same wireless network are able to access their music collection from anywhere on the same network.

When multiple computers are set up so that libraries are open to be shared then each person has access to the entire music library. The problem is, there is no way to locally save this music. You’re limited to just the one wireless network.

Simplify Media works just like the iTunes system except that you don’t have to be on the same wireless network. So once Simplify Media and iTunes are open to the Internet, you can access your entire music library anywhere you go. By sharing your username, you can also access any of your friends music that are signed on.

There is some support for Linux and even the iPhone. Having total music access via your iPhone is probably one of the most fabulous applications possible.
